I'm currently setting my mom up with my A5 raspberry Saffiano Filofax for her to use for work with a little personal life mixed in. She was using a personal size before and thinks she might like a larger size better–like daughter, like mother :-) I laminated her dividers with the Dear Lizzy Serendipity paper pad. I scored the paper pack on sale at Michaels for $5! Here's what we've come up with so far for her inserts:
Divider 1:
• Month on two pages
• Daily on two pages
• TODAY bookmark
• Stickers to stay on task (and because who doesn't love cute stickers?)
Divider 2:
• Expense tracker
• Pool car tracker
Divider 3:
• Meeting notes
• Project notes
• Goals
Divider 4:
• Recipes
Divider 5:
• SOAP Bible study
Divider 6:
• Cholesterol tracker
• Notes/To dos
• Personal items
I wanted to make myself a new S.O.A.P bible study printable and journal sheet for my A5 Filofax and I thought I'd share this free printable with you too! The S.O.A.P Bible study method is really nice for me. It's part of my morning time with God. Sometimes I'll read a chapter in the Bible, other times I'll pull one from my daily devotional, or maybe choose a scripture that stuck out to me at church the week prior. I love the simple prompts and it ensures that I do my prayer and bible study everyday no matter where I am.
Hope you enjoy it! I'd love to see how you're using it in your Filofax or planner, just use #paperandmoss and tag me @paperandmoss on Instagram.
I've been on the hunt for a small satchel I can take with me on my upcoming trip to Italy. I've always wanted to own a Cambridge Satchel. They're gorgeous and come in different styles, colors, and sizes. Unfortunately, the price tag is something I couldn't commit to right now. So, I searched up and down for something comparable and for me, I found it.
The Damero Satchel bag is a genuine leather bag with a small price tag. It has some similarities in style that the Cambridge Satchel's have. It comes in 8.5 or 11 inches. I chose the 11 inch because I like to carry my A5 Filofax with me all the time. My Filofax fits perfectly, with a little room left. Inside it has a zipper pocket and an open pocket. Outside there is an open pocket and an opening to put a photo or something fun (like the camera I have in mine). The satchel has magnetic closures. The only thing that bugs me about the bag is the strap not having a loop to put the excess strap through—not a deal breaker though.
It's a great alternative to the Cambridge Satchel. It's lightweight, comes in different colors, affordable and seems well made. I'm excited to put it to the test to see how well it holds up.
Happy Wednesday! I love using faux polaroids in my Project Life albums and adding some simple text underneath. I wanted to share this with you so that you can too. You can download this template for free below.
Enjoy!
July's Project Life kit from Studio Calico was hard for me to work with. The style and colors were not my preference, but I ended up really liking how some of the spreads came out.
It was love at first sight. I saw this handsome Filofax on Victoria of The CC Collection's Instagram feed.
It was the beautiful cognac color, the leather, the front pocket, the closure, the stitching–all of it just appealed to me more than my Ochre Malden Filofax. So I swiped it up from Colemans during an amazing sale.

I received my very first planner kit ever yesterday from Studio Calico.
Compared to the mass quantities I feel like I get in the Project Life kit from them, the planner kit feels lacking and kind of...scarce.
That said, everything I did receive is really cute and the colors are really fun! The "PLAN" clip reminds me of Ban.do. I was a bit disappointed my "Get It Together" dashboard was bent at the top. I'll have to try laminating it to get the creases out.
I’m looking forward to receiving next month’s planner kit.

Earlier this month my husband and I threw a baby shower for his brother and sister-in-law. Because I wanted them to have a cute guestbook to have as a keepsake, I instantly thought of trying out a small Project Life album.
I love my pink Fujifilm Instax Mini 8 camera, but hadn't really used it yet. I thought the combination of the two would be a fun treat. The Instax camera ended up being so easy for the guests to use–just point and shoot!
This was our setup at the party with instructions for the whole process:
Interested in making your own? Check out all you'll need to have one at your next party.
Here's what your guests will need:
- Any size album (I chose a 4x4 We R Memory Keepers album in greige)
- Cardstock cut into the appropriate size
- Polaroid camera (mine is the Fujifilm Instax Mini 8)
- Film for your camera
- Pens (I used precision pens from American Crafts)
- Washi (no scissors required, just tear it off!)
Happy DIYing!
Catching back up on Project Life as I've been away from it the last couple months with moving and just being busy. Also, welcome to my new blog! I'm excited to start with documenting my creative adventures.
